On June 3, a meeting with the Baku Health Center was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.

The meeting was attended by ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Gasim Mammadov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, Professor Lyatafat Gardashova, Head of the ASOIU Instrumentation Department, Doctor of Technical Sciences Lala Bekirova, as well as Executive Director of the Baku Health Center Dr Asiman Hasanov and delegation.

The meeting discussed promising issues and areas of cooperation and partnership.

Welcoming the guests at the university, ASOIU Rector Professor M. Babanli spoke about the educational process, specialities, areas of possible cooperation and attracting students to internships at the university. Noting the need for a dual roadmap in education and research, Rector M. Babanli spoke about teaching elective subjects and the importance of training specialists who can use modern technological equipment and resources. He expressed readiness for any cooperation in this direction.

Expressing satisfaction with his presence at the university, Executive Director of the Baku Health Center, Dr A. Hasanov, stressed that there are all opportunities for developing a joint roadmap and cooperation. Speaking about the application of medicine in engineering, Dr A. Hasanov said they are especially interested in cooperation in applying artificial intelligence in medicine.

Then the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation.
