ASOIU students who completed the Baku Master Technology Transfer Program (MTTP-2022) are awarded

On June 6, an awards ceremony was held for students who successfully completed the Baku Master Technology Transfer (MTTP-2022) program organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Technip Energies.

The event was attended by General Director of Technip Energies Marco Villa, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Azerbaijan Republic Mukhtar Babayev, an employee of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Farhad Beyukzade, Rector of ASOIU, Professor Mustafa Babanli, General Director of Technip Azerbaijan Luigi Fiorentino and other officials.

Speaking at the event, representatives of Technip stated that they were satisfied with the participants of the program organized for ASOIU and BANM students and noted that students have a high level of English and professional knowledge.

Expressing gratitude to the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Technip for supporting the program, Rector Professor M. Babanli said that the participation of 23 ASOIU students in the program is of great importance for the university.

Speaking about the transition to green energy, a significant global issue, the Rector noted that new specialities in this field would be opened at the university. He expressed his readiness to cooperate with Technip in this direction.

Further, all students who successfully completed the program were awarded certificates. 3 ASOIU students - Rufan Yusifov from the Oil-gas production Faculty, Farida Bakhishova from the Chemical technology Faculty, and Iskander Aliyev from the Oil-mechanics Faculty got the opportunity to participate in the internship program at the Technip office in Europe and Azerbaijan.

Successful candidates will be offered a job at Technip.

The program was attended by students of the Oil-gas production Faculty, Chemical technology Faculty and Oil-mechanics Faculty of ASOIU. Initially, 50 4th year students of ASOIU took part in the qualifying round. Among the ASOIU students, 23 people were selected according to their specialization, English knowledge and general worldview from the interviews.

As part of the program, lectures were given to students by specialists from the Technip Energies office in Europe and our country. At the end of each module, workshops and module test exams were held for the participants. They also completed various group tasks to improve their teamwork skills.
