The Francophone Career Centre opens at UFAZ

On June 24, the opening ceremony of the Baku Francophone Career Center took place at Azerbaijani-French University.

Before the event's start, the Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe of the Francophone Universities Agency (AUF), Dr Mohamed Ketata, who is on an official visit to Baku, made a video presentation and informed students and graduates about the agency and its activities.

Then Dr M.Ketata and ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, cut the ceremonial ribbon at the opening.

ASOIU Rector, Professor M. Babanli, expressed hope that the new career centre will open wider career opportunities for UFAZ students and improve partnerships.

Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe of the Francophone Universities Agency (AUF), Mohammed Ketata, spoke about the strategic importance of opening such a career centre in Azerbaijan and noted that the centre would open new opportunities for students and graduates of UFAZ.

French Embassy Counselor for Cultural Affairs and Cooperation Jerome Kelle also attended the event.

It should be noted that according to its new strategy, the AUF has announced its intention to establish 50 Francophone career centres worldwide, one of which will open in Baku. The centre will support French-speaking students studying at UFAZ and other universities in personal development and career advancement.

Since 2019 UFAZ and ASOIU have been full members of AUF, which unites more than 1,000 universities in more than 120 countries.
