ASOIU holds the last meeting of the Academic Board in the 2021-2022 academic year

On July 6, a regular meeting of the Academic Board was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli first congratulated the Head of the Department, Associate Professor Shukur Nasirov, on his 60th birthday and then informed about the issues on the agenda. After the agenda's approved by the Board members, the Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, delivered the annual report.

Speaking about the results of the 2021-2022 academic year, successes and shortcomings, the Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, analyzed the quality of education and teaching at the university in the past academic year and provided information to the Board members. He noted that the main part of learning is the content, its presentation and assessment, and every teacher should consider this criterion. Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, gave detailed information about the work done at the university during the year, regulation of classes by faculties, the university admission rules, the work done in the direction of providing students with high knowledge, as well as ASOIU's international relations, accredited specialities, scientific achievements of the university academic staff, articles published in world-class metric databases, also spoke about the achievements and goals of the university in the field of scientific research.

The annual report covered all issues related to teaching. The results of the examination sessions for the 2021-2022 academic year were also discussed at the meeting. The academic year that began and ended in the traditional format after two years of the pandemic was recognized by the Board members as a success.

After the Board members' questions regarding the topics discussed and the report were answered, the Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, expressed his comments and suggestions regarding the preparation for the new academic year and gave instructions on the upcoming work.
