On August 8, the "Post Oil Economy" summer school opened at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

Vice-rectors, teachers and students of the university took part in opening a two-week summer school that will be held in cooperation with ASOIU and DAAD. Speakers at the event talked about the importance of this short-term summer school.

Students from Germany, Italy and Azerbaijan, who joined the summer school, will be in our country's oil fields and various industrial enterprises during this period. An excursion to Azerbaijan's historical places and cultural centres will be organized for them. Also, students will be given nine lectures by Azerbaijani experts experienced in the oil sector.

During the conversation with the students, it was noted that they are satisfied with the program and have high hopes for summer school.

In the end, the opening ceremony continued with the performance of music and dance numbers.
