A group of employees of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) visited Shusha city within the framework of the “Year of Shusha”.

During the visit, the university staff visited the historical monuments of Shusha, the foundation of which was laid by the Karabakh Khan Panahali Khan in 1752, which keeps our national and spiritual values and musical traditions fascinating with its charm. They also got acquainted with the restoration and reconstruction work in the city.

It should be noted that by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers and following the relevant instructions of the Ministry of Education, ASOIU employees visited the city of Shusha, and such visits will continue within the framework of the “Year of Shusha”.

As you know, 2022 has been declared the “Year of Shusha” in our country by order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, dated January 5, 2022. In this regard, several events are being held in our country, and tours to the Shusha are being organized. ASOIU also has regular events within the framework of the “Year of Shusha” that will be continued in the future.
