On September 7-9, the University of Applied Sciences Krems in Austria hosted meetings with partner universities within the framework of the UniLab international project, in which the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) participated.
Rasim Abdullayev, Advisor to the ASOIU Rector for Information Technologies and Innovations, Deputy Vice-Rector for International Relations, Associate Professor, Ulviya Abbasova, Head of the International Projects Sector of the International Cooperation Office Leyla Nagiyeva, and master student of the Faculty of Economics and Management Rolan Yusifov took part in meetings with representatives of partner universities of Azerbaijan, Austria, Spain, France and other countries.
During the three-day meetings, the work carried out within the framework of the UniLab project, the upcoming tasks were discussed, and the individual experience of partner universities about internship opportunities in companies and career centres.
There was also talk about the UniLab portal, created by the University of Applied Sciences Krems. The participants have explained the principle of operation and the possibility of using the portal. In addition, during the meeting, a presentation was made on the work done by ASOIU within the framework of the project and the opportunities created for students at the University's Career Center.
In addition, during the meeting, the participants were acquainted with the laboratories and VR classrooms of the University of Applied Sciences Krems.
Notably, within the framework of the "Erasmus + KA2" program funded by the European Union (EU), ASOIU joined the Unilab project "Market in the 21st Century: A Step Forward in Work-based Placements" on January 1, 2020.
