ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, University Invited Professor - Ehsan Musavi Khanegah and Associate Professor Nigar Ismayilova participate in the consortium meeting held in Athens of the Horizon Europe 2020 - ELECTRON project on September 28-29. In addition to ASOIU, leading European organisations and research centres, such as Intrasoft International, the University of Western Macedonia, Schneider, ATOS, IBM, Isotrol, etc., participate in the project mentioned above consortium.

The primary purpose of the consortium meeting is to monitor the resolution of issues and identify new challenges. The main goal of the Electron project is to find and implement security solutions for energy supply companies. The distributed management system, the main research direction of the university's HPC centre, and the proposed approaches and solutions in this field were put forward by the delegation of ASOIU as the main starting point for the development of the next version of the project.
