On October 4, a meeting was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) with representatives of the Turkish company Borusan Makina ve Güc Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The meeting was attended by ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, vice-rectors, Omer Emre Demirkale, head of the Azerbaijani representative office of Borusan Makina ve Güc Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret and a delegation, as well as the university academic staff and students.

Rector, Professor M. Babanli informed the guests in detail about the work done at ASOIU, cooperation relations, accredited specialities and new projects and spoke about the importance of establishing and developing cooperation relations with Borusan Makina ve Güc Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret for the university.

O. E. Demirkale, head of the Azerbaijani representative office of Borusan Makina ve Güc Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret, expressed satisfaction with his stay at ASOIU, gave detailed information about the company he headed and noted that joint work would be carried out to develop cooperation with the university.

As a result, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the parties.

It should be noted that the company's main activity is the organisation of wholesale and retail sales and repair of construction and mining equipment, diesel and gas generators and equipment. In parallel, it sells spare parts for equipment and generators.
