On October 11, an interactive concert by Cadenza Contemporary Orchestra with students was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

The concert was attended by ASOIU Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli, vice-rectors, academic staff and students.

The program of the concert included "A Little Night Music" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, "Dance of a Passionate Girl" by Gar Garayev, "Tango" by Alfred Schnittke, "Çal, oyna!", "Zangezur Mountains", "Batabat Plateaus" by Ertogrul Javid, "Miniatures" by Khayyam Mirzazade, Dmitri Shostakovich's "Waltz-Joke" and Uzeyir Hajibeyli's "Dzhangi".

The event participants highly appreciated the orchestra creating the program by combining various works. ASOIU Rector, Professor M. Babanli, thanked Cadenza Contemporary Orchestra for the concert program and expressed hope that such meetings would be repeated.

It should be noted that the Cadenza orchestra began its activities in 2021 and has held 11 concerts, with more than 50 works performed, most of which were first performances. On April 12, 2022, the Cadenza orchestra launched a new project. As part of the project, interactive concerts have been held in 33 secondary schools since April 12. Among higher education institutions, the first interactive concert was held at ASOIU.
