On November 4, Xingru Wu, an Associate Professor of the University of Oklahoma, who is on an academic visit to Azerbaijan within the framework of a project implemented by the United States of America (USA) Embassy in the Republic of Azerbaijan, visited the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University. The guest held a seminar on the topic "Utilising real-time pressure and temperature data for surveillance in deepwater development and production" with the support of the International Cooperation Office and the organisation of the Deputy Vice-Rector for International Relations, Associate Professor Ulviyya Abbasova.

The seminar, which aroused the students' interest, continued with discussions. Associate Professor Xingru Wu provided students extensive information on the topic and answered their questions.
