The international scientific conference "Thermal Methods for Enhanced Oil Recovery: Laboratory Testing, Simulation and Oilfields Applications" continues with plenary sessions at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

At the first plenary session of the conference, chaired by Professor Denis Nurgaliyev, Vice-Rector of Kazan Federal University and Professor Latafat Gardashova, Vice-Rector of ASOIU for Scientific Affairs, Professor Birol Dindoruk from the University of Houston, USA, delivered scientific lectures on the topic "Role of Diffusivity in the Hydrocarbon Industry", Dr Mohammad Bazargan from the Sharif University of Technology on "Tracking In-situ Combustion Front using Geophysical and Geomechanical Data".

The conference continued with plenary sessions on various topics.

Then, within the framework of the conference, the guests visited the ASOIU Azerbaijani-Turkish Friendship Center, made a tour of the university and got acquainted with the conditions.

On the 2nd day of the conference, in addition to plenary sessions, city sights excursions were organised for the participants. Thus, the guests visited the Heydar Aliyev Center and got acquainted with the exhibits reflecting the life and work of the great leader.

Several important meetings and scientific discussions also took place within the conference framework.
