On November 3, an international scientific conference organised by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), the Middle East Technical University (METU), Kazan Federal University (KFU) and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic ended.

On the last day of the conference, which consisted of plenary sessions, a round table was organised on the topic "Recent development in exploration, drilling and production in the region."

 Within the framework of the conference, in addition to panel lectures, excursions to several city sights were organised for the participants. The guests visited the Ateshgah Temple State Historical and Architectural Reserve.
