Head of the Instrumentation Department of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Doctor of Technical Sciences Lala Bekirova and teacher of the department Sabina Aliyeva visited the Republic of Turkiye on November 7-8. ASOIU employees, Doctor of Technical Sciences Lala Bakirova and Sabina Aliyeva, held a meeting with colleagues of the Engineering Faculty of the Necmettin Erbakan University, headed by an employee of the university, Dr Mujahit Yilmaz. For the joint project implementation, several meetings and discussions have been held with the participation of team members from both universities. It should be noted that more than two months ago, within the framework of the TÜBİTAK grant, a new project was launched, proposed by the Instrumentation Department in cooperation with a partner, Necmettin Erbakan University in Konya, and the project that passed the qualifying stage aroused interest in Turkiye.

ASOIU employees who visited Turkiye met with the management of Necmettin Erbakan University. Vice-Rector of the University, Professor Oguz Dogan warmly welcomed our employees and expressed gratitude to the Rector of ASOIU, Professor Mustafa Babanli, for the high-quality, efficient and productive work of the team. He also noted that the memorandum signed between the two universities is of great importance to them, and they believe that joint projects will give positive results.

During the visit, ASOIU staff met with students of the Necmettin Erbakan University and discussed plans with staff responsible for practical internships. Plans for joint internships for students from both partner universities were discussed.
