According to the memorandum of cooperation signed on September 7 between the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) and the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE), various events are regularly held. Thus, on October 13, a meeting with the Azerbaijani representative of the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE), Gulhan Yuzereroglu, was held at the Instrument Engineering Department of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). The next meeting was organised by Gulhan Yuzereroglu on November 8, 2022, at the TSE head office in Ankara.

Experienced specialists from the TSE office in Ankara introduced the ASOIU delegation (Doctor of Technical Sciences Lala Bakirova, Head of the Instrument Engineering Department of ASOIU, and Sabina Aliyeva, teacher of the department) stages of product evaluation according to standards based on laboratories for various purposes and research conducted there. Extensive information was provided on Turkish and European standards and ISO.

During the meeting, the parties got acquainted with the work of 21 different purpose laboratories. The processes taking place in the laboratory and the working principles of the devices and equipment used were visually demonstrated. Representatives also familiarise themselves with the standards development centre. At the end of the meeting, joint projects, offline and online training for students and teachers of the department, plan future events with the participation of the department academic staff and graduates with AZSTAND in developing national standards were discussed.
