On November 21, a meeting on cooperation was held between the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University and Türkiye Petrolleri Anonim Ortaklığı (TPAO).

Within the framework of the meeting, the Rector of Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University, Professor Ismail Hakki Özölçer and the Head of Türkiye Petrolleri Anonim Ortaklığı in Azerbaijan, Khalil Bugra Yavuz and the delegation visited the training laboratories of ASOIU and the Azerbaijani-French University (UFAZ), Laser Center, Lecture Hall named after Heydar Aliyev, university history museum, as well as the Turkish-Azerbaijani Friendship Center, the auditoriums and got acquainted with the conditions created here.

ASOIU Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli greeted the guests and provided them with detailed information about the university, the educational process, the work done, international relations and new projects.

The Rector of Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University, Professor I.H. Özölçer and the Head of TPAO in Azerbaijan, Khalil Bugra Yavuz, expressed their satisfaction with the meeting and interest in conducting joint training, practice, especially in the oil field.

Then the delegation from Turkiye met with the academic staff of the Oil and Gas Production Faculty of ASOIU and the Geological Exploration Faculty, where they discussed the upcoming work organising joint education and innovation in the oil sector.
