On November 24, the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) hosted an awards ceremony for the training "Tutorship in International Practice", organised by the Education Quality Assurance Agency (TKTA).
Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli, who opened the event with an introductory speech, spoke about the educational process and the role of tutors in ASOIU. Speaking about the tutors' duties, coordination of work with students, existing difficulties in this area and issues that need to be resolved, the rector, Professor M. Babanli, expressed gratitude to TKTA for conducting such training.
Chairman of the Board of TKTA Ulkar Sattarova spoke about the importance of the training in supporting the improvement of the tutors' professionalism. She noted that the agency always supports such training to develop higher education institutions.
Then the ASOIU tutors, who showed high results, were awarded the TKTA certificate. It was noted that 65 people from ASOIU participated in the training.
In conclusion, the tutors highly appreciated the training aimed at their professional development and expressed gratitude.
