On December 3, the football team of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) won the mini-football competition dedicated to Victory Day. In total, teams from 6 universities and two colleges took part in the football competition held with the support of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) within the student extra-curricular entertainment program "FunniFy" supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the organisation of the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations' Union (ASYOU).

In the first game of the Karabakh Cup, ASOIU's Agdam team won over BSU's Fizuli team by a big score. In the final match, the football team of ASOIU became the champion of the Karabakh Cup, beating the "Lachin" team of the Baku Technical College under the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) with a score of 4:2. The winners were awarded cups and medals.

It should be noted that the purpose of the tournament is to organise students' free time and improve their physical skills.
