 On December 2, the Rector of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli, met with the great-grandson of the famous philanthropist Hajji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev, oil geologist Nazim Abdullayev and his close relative Saida Mirizada.

At the meeting, Rector M. Babanli spoke about the measures implemented at the university to develop education, university relations and the successes achieved. At the same time, the Rector emphasized the importance of the social, educational and charitable activities of Hajji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev, a well-known entrepreneur and philanthropist who lived in the early twentieth century.

Then the guests got acquainted with the teaching conditions at ASOIU.

Hailing his being at his native university N. Abdullayev highly appreciated the work done to adapt the quality of teaching and scientific potential to modern standards.
