On January 18, the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) hosted a ceremony awarding certificates to students who completed an internship at Metak.
The event, attended by Professor Mustafa Babanli, ASOIU Rector, and Alik Karimov, head of Metak company, university academic staff and company employees, covered discussions on the relationship between an industrial enterprise and a higher educational institution. Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, informed the participants about the new educational programs implemented at ASOIU, double degree projects and personnel training. Speaking about innovations and start-up projects, Professor Mustafa Babanli brought to the participants' attention that highly qualified engineers are currently being trained at the university.
Alik Karimov, head of Metak company, noted that there is always a need for engineering personnel trained by AzII (ASOIU), and AzII graduates working at the enterprise he leads and ASOIU students who are currently undergoing internships at the company are proof of this.
Then the students were awarded certificates. The students who completed the internship at the Metak company noted that they were satisfied with both the theoretical knowledge gained at the university and the experience of working in the company.
