On February 15, a delegation led by the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Angola to our country Augusto da Silva Kunhan, visited Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

Professor Mustafa Babanli, ASOIU Rector, warmly welcomed the guests and gave detailed information about the University. Noting that AZİİ graduates have achieved great success in many countries, including the Republic of Angola, Professor Mustafa Babanli, Rector, brought to the guests that high-level engineering personnel and qualified specialists are trained at ASOIU today. He added that ASOIU's international relations are pretty broad, and we are interested in cooperation with Angola's higher education institutions as a university.

Augusto da Silva Kunhan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Angola to Azerbaijan, spoke about the close relations between Azerbaijan and the Republic of Angola and said he would do his best as an ambassador for the development of these relations. Noting that AZİİ graduates are well known in their country, the Ambassador spoke about cooperation between this old educational institution and Angola higher education institutions and emphasised the importance of developing this cooperation.

The guests who got acquainted with the University visited the auditoriums and wrote their heartfelt words in the guest book allocated for the honorary guests at The History Museum of the University.
