On March 7, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) hosted an event on March 8-International Women's day.

Professor Mustafa Babanli, Rector of ASOIU, congratulated the female staff of the University on International Women's day. Speaking about the role of women as mothers in society, Professor M.Babanli, Rector, noted that the modern Azerbaijani woman, distinguished by high spiritual and moral characteristics, occupies a high position in society and the social sphere. Also, M. Babanli, the Rector, spoke about the history of celebrating March 8 as a holiday worldwide and noted the importance of it.
