ASOIU holds meeting with graduate geologists

On March 11, a meeting with the graduates of the Geological Exploration Faculty was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).  

At the meeting, organised by Sakit Samadov, ASOIU rector's advisor on University-Industrial Cooperation and Alumni Affairs and Associate Professor Namad Pashayev, dean of the Geological Exploration Faculty, cooperation between the University and alumni was discussed.  

At the meeting, attended by about 40 graduates, adviser Sakit Samadov and Dean Associate Professor Namad Pashayev said that the graduates have always been their family. It was noted that the success of each graduate of ASOIU is the success of the University, the profit of our society and people. It was pointed out that at all times, AzII graduates adequately represent both their homeland and their native University in various countries of the world. 

Young geologists working in various private and state institutions by their specialities and currently studying for master's degrees in prestigious higher education institutions in Türkiye spoke about their experience. They stressed that they are always ready to cooperate with their alma mater and said that the name of ASOIU is an immutable brand for them. Noting that they will do their best to provide students studying at the Faculty of Geology with internships and jobs per their qualifications, the engineers gave information about their platforms and activities. They proposed the more prepared and professional formation of students currently studying at the University in the appropriate speciality in the educational process. 

Adviser Sakit Samadov thanked the graduates for participating in the meeting and said that the University will always communicate with the graduates through the newly created common platform and do their best for their further development. At the meeting, there was a discussion of other new projects to strengthen the cooperation between the University and its graduates, and the success goals were determined together.
