On March 14, a meeting with the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and Clubs (KOBSKA) was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). 

Professor Mustafa Babanli, Rector of ASOIU, academic staff of the university, Nigar Alasgarova, Board Chairperson of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and Clubs and other representatives attended the meeting. 

After greeting the guest Professor M.Babanli, Rector provided information about the university and spoke about the work done, the current state of startup projects and innovations. Rector M.Babanli also noted that the development of business thinking of young people with business-oriented ideas and the provision of the material base for them is a priority at the university and emphasised the importance of supporting students to bring startup projects to the business environment.

Expressing his satisfaction with being at ASOIU, Nigar Alasgarova, Board Chairperson of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and Clubs, noted the importance of holding seminars and meetings at the university with the participation of leading companies in various fields, experts from government agencies, noting that young people are always ready to support startup ideas.

Then a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the parties.

It should be noted that the memorandum is aimed at implementing joint projects between teachers and students to ensure the sustainable development of scientific and practical information, as well as cooperation in areas of mutual interest included in state programs and national action plans on governance, competition, public procurement, advertising, technical regulation, standardisation, in particular, protecting consumer rights and the development of control over the consumer market.
