At secondary school No. 300 in Baku, the presentation ceremony of the Technical-Popular series consisting of 16 books was held by Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).
The presentation ceremony was attended by Anar Mammadov, deputy head of the Baku City Education Department, Associate Professor Ata Babayev, Vice-Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), authors of the book- ASOIU Deans Namad Pashayev, Aydin Aliyev, Farid Agayev, Ilham Rustamov, consultant Professor of the University Alasgar Aliyev, school administration, teachers and pupils.
A.Mammadov, Deputy head of BCED, praised ASOIU's gift - a set of books to schoolchildren, promoting values within the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" as a commendable step. A.Mammadov said that the popular technical series is a significant resource on technical fields, adding that along with students, masters, doctoral students, teachers and scientific workers, even schoolchildren can benefit from these books. The deputy director noted that these books presented to schoolchildren would play a role in their promotion at higher education levels and formation as a person in the future.
Associate Professor Ata Babayev, the Vice-Rector, first conveyed the greetings of the ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, to all event participants. Nothing that the Technical-Popular series consisting of 16 books, published in high quality in Istanbul, was created directly with the support of ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli; A.Babayev said that profound successes had been achieved today as a result of joint activities of the university administration and academic staff in various fields of science. He pointed out that ASOIU regularly publishes books on multiple areas of science, mainly technical, chemistry, energy and geology. He noted that the set of books presented today would be helpful in the development of both teachers and students.
The book's authors, who participated in the event, gave detailed information about the Technical-Popular series of 16 books. They noted that the Technic-popular series is intended to popularise science in Azerbaijan and a broad audience of readers. The authors said these books would also be an excellent support for young people in choosing the right speciality.
Then the pupils demonstrated literary and artistic compositions dedicated to the great leader Heydar Aliyev.
