On March 28, with the support and organisation of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), the performance "Salvation", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev was staged by actors of the Yerevan State Azerbaijan Drama Theater.

Making an opening speech before the performance, Professor Jamal Mustafayev, Head of the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines, spoke about the activity of national leader Heydar Aliyev as a political and statesman who left an indelible mark on the history of the Azerbaijani people. He noted that the invaluable services of the national leader to the state and nation are becoming more evident over time, and the people of Azerbaijan will never forget the dear memory of the national leader with great respect and gratitude.

Then the play "Salvation" was shown, in which Iftikhar Piriyev, the theatre's artistic director, performed the central role. The two-part epic historical drama was met with great interest by the participants.
