UFAZ development prospects discussed in France

Starting on March 27, a delegation led by Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev paid a two-day visit to France.

On the first day of the visit, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev met with the President of Strasbourg University, Michel Deneken. At the meeting attended by the Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Professor Mustafa Babanli and the director of the Azerbaijani-French University (UFAZ), Vazeh Asgarov, the parties discussed issues of strengthening cooperation in the field of Science and education, development of cooperation in the field of scientific research and student exchange.

At the meeting, a presentation on the development prospects of the Azerbaijani-French University (UFAZ) for 2024-2030 was also held. Within the framework of the visit, the delegation toured various scientific laboratories and research centres of

the University of Strasbourg, as well as met with UFAZ students who are currently practising at the University.

It should be noted that UFAZ was established in 2014 on the initiative of the presidents of Azerbaijan and France. UFAZ presents two diplomas to graduates within the consortium run by Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University and France by Strasbourg University.
