On April 17, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) held a concert among the students of higher education institutions in preparation for the contest-festival of artistic creativity dedicated to the 100th anniversary of great leader Heydar Aliyev.

The students' performances were evaluated by People's Artists Gulyanag Mammadova, Samir Jafarov, Honored Art Worker Baba Veziroglu, Algismat Lalayev, Hafiz Guliyev and other prominent artists.

Students performed various dances, musical compositions and poems at the concert, organised by ASOIU Student Trade Union Committee. Also, the Ganjlik Song and Dance Ensemble performed the dances.

It should be noted that the final concert of the festival winners will be held on May 6.
