On May 2, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) hosted an info session for admission at the bachelor's and master's level of SABAH groups for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Eldar Gojayev, Head of the Executive Committee of SABAH groups of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Associate Professor Gasim Mammadov, vice-rector for Academic Affairs of ASOIU, Arzu Ibrahimova, head of SABAH groups of ASOIU, heads of SABAH centres of other higher education institutions and students attended the event.

A video about SABAH groups' activities was first demonstrated at the event.

Opening the event, Associate Professor G.Mammadov, ASOIU vice-rector for Academic Affairs, and A.Ibrahimova, head of SABAH groups of ASOIU, welcomed the participants and wished the students success.

Speaking at the event, E.Gojayev, Head of the Executive Committee of SABAH groups, gave students detailed information about SABAH groups and explained the selection and admission procedure, training opportunities, privileges and advantages applicable to SABAH students. Talking about the activities and positions of SABAH students in the labour market, E.Gojayev stressed the importance of knowledge of foreign languages along with the speciality.

In the end, the students' questions were answered.

It should be noted that SABAH was created to improve the quality of education in higher education, to create a new and different environment in the higher education system, to train educated, competent and prepared students, and to provide staff training following the growing requirements of the labour market.
