On May 5, the closing ceremony of the Scientific Conference of Young Researchers and Doctoral Students dedicated to the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

At the event, Professor Latafat Gardashova, ASOIU Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, spoke about the role of the conference in the future scientific activities of young doctoral students and emphasised the importance of achieving high results in this direction.

Associate Professor Zulfiqar Ibrahimli, the Head of the doctoral Department of ASOIU, informed the participants about the articles and theses presented at the conference. Notably, 127 papers were accepted to the conference, of which 116 were submitted through plagiarism. 116 doctoral and master's students attended the conference.

Then the reports of the chairpersons on the sections were heard.

It should be noted that the theses were in Azerbaijani, Russian and English.
