On May 16-17, Professor of Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology of Finland Leonid Chechurin held a seminar on "Mathematical Models in Economics" for Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) students.

L. Chechurin made a presentation on the fundamentals of dynamic economic modelling, multidisciplinary economics, the three-sector model in economics, and optimization. At the same time, the University hosted a workshop on "Creativity, Invention, Innovation", which demonstrated conceptual design and heuristic support methods for invention and innovation for students, the experience of Samsung, LG, GE and other industrial enterprises.

In the end, interactive discussions were held, and students' questions were answered.
