ASOIU hosts event entitled "Stages and Results of the national leader's Leadership in Azerbaijan"

On May 18, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) hosted an event entitled "Stages and Results of the national leader's Leadership in Azerbaijan". After the National Anthem was performed at the event attended by the academic staff and students of the University, Professor Jamal Mustafayev, the head of the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines of ASOIU, spoke about the historical services of the genius person Heydar Aliyev to the state and people of Azerbaijan. He noted that during all his life and activity, great leader Heydar Aliyev carried the responsibility of Azerbaijan on his shoulders, brought it out of the heavy trials of history as a state and our people as a nation, created an independent country, which we call modern Azerbaijan, its present realities and a reliable foundation of a bright tomorrow. Professor Jamal Mustafayev also stressed that the modern state of Azerbaijan, built by a genius person, has been developed by President Ilham Aliyev at an even higher level and turned into a prosperous and strong state, today Azerbaijan is recognized as a powerful state not only in the region, but all over the world, and has a say in the international arena.

Associate professor Azad Jafarov, Department of Social Sciences of ASOIU, made a presentation on "Heydar Aliyev's National Education Strategy", and Narmina Gasimova, the teacher, made a presentation on "Heydar Aliyev's leadership by Periods". Yashar Ahmadov, Associate Professor of the Department, spoke about the merits of the great leader in the development of Science in Azerbaijan. Students-Babashli Alsu and Ismayil Mammadov, as a youth, expressed their opinion about the great leader and said that Azerbaijan and its founders will always live in their hearts and they will pass it on to the next generations.

In the end, the essay contest "Life and Activity of national leader Heydar Aliyev is an Example for Azerbaijani Youth" winners was awarded. Students Gulnar Atakishizade - first, Fariza Chingiz and Rauf Mehdiyev - second; Medina Alizade, Elgun Mehdizade and Fuad Musayev won third place.
