On May 18, the All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference "Adaptation to global changes and Challenges: new forms of Economy, resource-efficient Technologies, and environmental protection" was held at Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas.

The conference organised by the Council of Young Scientists of the National Technical University of Oil and Gas, the Department of Applied Economics of the Institute of Economics and Management, the Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection Technologies brought together more than 24 educational institutions from 14 cities of Ukraine, including universities from several countries. Employees of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) also attended the conference held online. ASOIU's "Management" Department employee Turkan Sheidai said that the university employees actively participated in the conference topic discussions.

Professor Gazanfar Suleymanov, Head of the Management Department of ASOIU, speaking at the conference on "Adaptation to global changes and challenges: new forms of economy, resource-efficient technologies, and environmental protection", talked about the importance of the forum. It was noted that this conference is of great significance for us because the topic is devoted to the current issue for the strategic development of Ukrainian and Azerbaijani science and education. The conference serves as a bridge of close scientific cooperation between the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas of Ukraine and ASOIU. Employees of the Management Department of ASOIU, Turkan Sheydai, Natavan Ibrahimova, Nurana Abdullayeva, and Mehriban Imranova, also spoke at the conference and presented articles to the section "Development of socio-economic systems in the context of global changes and challenges".
