The employees of the Oil Mechanical Faculty, including the Department of Industrial Machines at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), recently had a meeting with representatives of the Azerbaijani branch of the renowned German international company, "Samson Group." 

The meeting was attended by Associate Professor Ali Hikmet Ahmadov, the Dean of Oil Mechanical Faculty, Associate Professor Jamaladdin Aslanov, Head of the Department of Industrial Machinery, and employees from the department, also representers Samson Group - Kamen Marinov, Sales Modular Systems and Solution, Jurgen Dilis, Head of Department Order Clarification, Special Valves and Projects, Ilqar Aliyev, the representative of Samson Group in Azerbaijan. During the meeting, which focused on discussing the collaboration between the institution and the university in the field of education, a detailed exchange of ideas took place regarding the implementation of promising projects and the expansion of internship and job opportunities for ASOIU students.

As a noteworthy outcome of the meeting, two graduate students from the Oil Mechanical Faculty, Kamran Fatalizade and Turkan Musazade, successfully passed the selection process and were offered permanent positions within the Azerbaijan branch of Samson Group. 

In another notable event, first-year students from ASOIU, organised by the Department of Industrial Machines, visited the Azerbaijan branch of Samson Group. During the visit, the students and university staff delivered a presentation on the forecasting system. They had the opportunity to engage with Maya Rubin, the Head of the Analytical and Monitoring Service at SAMGUARD, a subsidiary of Samson Group. Maya Rubin shared detailed information about practical work at the company and answered the students' questions.
