On June 10, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) organised a meeting with alumni from the Faculty of Power Engineering.
The event brought together ASOIU's Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Ata Babayev, Dean of the Faculty of Power Engineering, Associate Professor Aydin Aliyev, Rector's Advisor on University-Industrial Cooperation and Alumni Affairs, Sakit Samadov, Head of the Internship Section under the PRMD, Sabina Aliyeva, Arzu Mammadova, the mother of Alihusein Mammadov, a martyr graduate of the Faculty of Power Engineering, 30 alumni and other guests.
During the meeting, Vice-Rector Associate Professor Ata Babayev, Dean Associate Professor Aydin Aliyev, and Advisor Sakit Samadov highlighted the significance of the gathering and emphasised the ongoing importance of maintaining strong connections with alumni. They stressed the need for further expanding and strengthening these relationships in the future. The speakers discussed the high demand for ASOIU alumni in the labour market and the importance of collaboration and cooperation between the university and its alumni.
Other speakers also shared insights into the industry's demand for ASOIU alumni in production. They expressed their perspectives on the university's education and the educational process, which is prepared following modern standards.
Alumni from different cohorts had the opportunity to learn about the accomplishments of their alma mater and shared their proposals during the meeting. They expressed their keen interest in discussing new projects to enhance cooperation further and work together towards achieving new goals.
