On June 20, within the framework of the energy seminar organised by Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (ZBEU), and Tükiye Petroleum Corporation (TPAO), a conference titled "Energy Issues, Hydrocarbons, and Renewable Energy Sources" took place in Tükiye. The conference, held at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, witnessed the participation of a delegation led by ASOIU Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli. Detailed reports were presented, fostering insightful discussions on the subject matter.

Following the conference, expressions of gratitude and tokens of appreciation were presented. Moreover, the inauguration ceremony for the drilling rig and nine additional application laboratories, established explicitly for educational purposes in Open Seabed Applications Technology and "Offshore Drilling Technology" programs, was conducted. Notably, the drilling rig, utilised in production over an expansive area of 10,000 square meters within the university campus, was also unveiled. Dignitaries, including Zonguldak Governor Mustafa Tutulmaz, AK Party deputy Ahmet Çolakoğlu, Mayor Omar Selim Alan, ASOIU Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli, Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Rector Professor Ismail Hakkı Özölçer, Bartin University (BARÜ) Rector Professor Orhan Uzun, TPAO Chairman and CEO Melih Han Bilgin, as well as vice-rectors and students, attended the opening ceremony of the Energy Workshop, Drilling Tower, and Application Laboratories.

Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the leaders delivered their speeches, highlighting the significance of the occasion. Lastly, a commemorative photograph was taken to mark the occasion.
