Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) participates as a partner in the "Campaigner" project, which is being implemented under the Horizon 2020 program and led by the Energy Institute of the University of Johannes Kepler in Austria. From June 13 to 15, the project's second assembly took place in Lahti, Finland, where ASOIU was represented by Associate Professor Ilham Rustamov, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management. The meeting focused on addressing new challenges associated with climate change and consumer behaviour. 

The "Campaigner" project comprises a consortium of 28 partners, including 14 universities, scientific institutions, and other relevant organizations from various countries such as Azerbaijan, Tükiye, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, France, Finland, Greece, Italy, Ireland, South Africa, Lithuania, and Peru.
