On July 4, the International Scientific Conference on Heydar Aliyev Era in the Development of Azerbaijani Science and Education dedicated to the 100th anniversary of great leader Heydar Aliyev started its work at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).
The conference, which began with the laying of a wreath at the pedestal of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, continued with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a minute of silence to commemorate the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
During the event, the rector, Professor Mustafa Babanlı, stated that a series of events and conferences were organised at the university to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. He further emphasised that ongoing events dedicated to the national leader would continue. Acknowledging the remarkable contributions of this exceptional figure to the Azerbaijani nation, particularly in the advancement of various sectors, including education and development, the rector, M. Babanlı, highlighted the substantial foundation established by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev for the implementation of an education strategy aligned with the experiences of developed nations.
During his speech at the conference, Asif Asgarov, the head of the Nasimi district executive power, highlighted the remarkable contributions of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev to our country's history. He emphasised that Heydar Aliyev played a pivotal role in developing and empowering national statehood, transforming the aspirations of the Azerbaijani people and leading the country from decline to progress.
Then a video interview about the conference featuring Oleq Baulin, the Rector of Ufa State Petroleum Technological University, was played.
During the conference, Member of Parliament Anar Isgandarov, Professor Selma Yel from Gazi University, and the Director of the Department of Heydar Aliyev Studies at the Institute of History of ANAS, Adalat Gasimov, highlighted the infinite devotion of the Great Leader for the people and the homeland, and his unwavering loyalty to statehood, serving as an exemplary model for present and future generations. It was noted that today's modern Azerbaijan has transformed into an influential, secure, prosperous, and developed state. The rich activities of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in all fields will always remain in the hearts of the Azerbaijani people.
It should be noted that the scientific conference, which will last two days, will complete its work on July 5.
