On July 5, the next meeting of the Academic Board took place at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). Before discussing the agenda items, Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli congratulated Aydin Aliyev, the Dean of the Faculty of Power Engineering, on his birthday, wishing him good health and success in his endeavours.

After, Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli provided the Board members with information about the current issues at the university, including the ongoing work, innovations, and problems.

Following that, in accordance with the agenda of the meeting, Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli presented the annual report on the outcomes of the 2022-2023 academic year. He discussed the university's accomplishments, innovations, conflicts, and goals, providing the board members with information on the scientific indicators.

Afterwards, Associate Professor Narmina Aliyeva, the Scientific Secretary, informed us about ASOIU's and the Academic Board's work plan for the 2023-2024 academic year. Then, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Gasim Mammadov, informed about the written format of the examinations for bachelor students studying in English starting from the 2023-2024 academic year. Additionally, Vice-Rector for Administrative and Economic Affairs, Associate Professor Seyami Huseynov, provided information about the establishment of the commission for the preparation of the statute and activity plan of the "Engineering Technology Center."

Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli expressed his opinions and suggestions on all the issues and assigned tasks regarding future work and goals.
