On July 5 the International Scientific Conference, "Heydar Aliyev epoch in the development of Science and education of Azerbaijan," dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, concluded at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).
During the conference, Professor Jamal Mustafayev, Head of the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines, highlighted that the preparation process for the conference began in November of the previous year. Professor J. Mustafayev emphasised that while several meetings were held at the university in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, this conference marked the first in the field of humanities.
Additionally, Professor Selma Yel from Gazi University and Professor Latafat Gardashova, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs at ASOIU, spoke at the conference, praising the event's organisation and acknowledging the remarkable scientific contributions, particularly the involvement of young researchers.
The conference proceeded with the presentation of reports by the section chairs, covering various topics.
Notably, the two-day conference encompassed six sections, with a total of 318 articles submitted, out of which 136 were accepted.
