A group of graduating students from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) were recognised and awarded during a ceremony held on July 14. The ceremony aimed to celebrate the successful completion of their studies and acknowledge their academic achievements, as well as their active involvement in the social and community life of the university, was attended by Ata Babayev, the ASOIU Vice-Rector for Education Affairs, Namig Ganjayev, Chairman of the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC), and the students.

In his address, Vice-Rector Ata Babayev congratulated the students and expressed his hopes for their future endeavours. He emphasised that these graduates serve as exemplary models for other students.

Namig Ganjayev, Chairman of the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC), provided an overview of the events and accomplishments during the 2022-2023 academic year. He also presented reports on various student-led initiatives, such as the Sports Club encompassing 12 sports disciplines, the "Ganjlik" song and dance ensemble, the "Maqnat" intellectual club, and the "Cheerful and Resourceful Club." He extended his best wishes to the students.
