On July 24, the Acting Rector, Associate Professor Vazeh Askarov of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), held a meeting with the Director of the Azerbaijan office of the "British Council," Nargiz Hajiyeva, and the delegation. 

Welcoming the guests Acting Rector Vazeh Askarov highlighted the significance of maintaining current shared initiatives while emphasising the desire for continued growth in the relationship with the organisation.

Director Nargiz Hajiyeva expressed the British Council's readiness to engage in collaborative project implementation with ASOIU and their commitment to providing substantial support for advancing the English language specialisation for the university's faculty and students.

Various potential prospects for cooperation between the "British Council" and ASOIU were discussed during the meeting, and specific objectives were determined to steer future collaborative endeavours.
