On July 31, a meeting was held between the Acting Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Associate Professor Vazeh Askarov and the Vice-President of bp, Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli.
The meeting took place at Azerbaijani-French University (UFAZ), which operates under the auspices of ASOIU. The discussions centred around the collaboration between bp, ASOIU, and UFAZ, mainly focusing on implementing the Dual Diploma in Renewable Energy in partnership with the University of Warwick.
Associate Professor Vazeh Askarov provided information about the existing education system at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) and cited the example of Azerbaijan-French University (UFAZ), indicating the institution's interest in collaborating with the company. He expressed confidence that more significant success could be achieved in the execution of joint educational projects with BP. Associate Professor Vazeh Askerov shared details about the status of the dual-degree program with the University of Warwick, and, recalling the successful model demonstrated by UFAZ, he affirmed his belief in the favourable outcome of this project.
bp's Vice-President, Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, highlighted the company's commitment to implementing various social projects, including collaborations with ASOIU and other educational institutions. He shared details about bp's involvement in educational initiatives and expressed the company's interest in the execution of the dual-degree program with the University of Warwick, further emphasising bp's dedication to supporting scientific and educational development and reaffirming the company's unwavering commitment to this regard.
