Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) students are successfully undergoing numerous summer internships within various production facilities. This year alone, more than 1300 students have enrolled in summer internships. Along with completing the internship period, a portion of our students are currently continuing their internships successfully. This enables them to put their theoretical knowledge to the practical test, gaining a closer understanding of their fields' intricacies and securing opportunities for permanent employment.
ASOIU collaborates with over 400 private and state-owned companies. Our students undertake internships in these companies both in the capital and in our regions. We have received confirmation letters from companies about our students currently engaged in summer internships. 30 students from ASOIU are conducting paid internships at Azerenerji OJSC, over 15 students at Norm Cement, and 12 at SOCAR Downstream. A portion of the selected interns also secure permanent employment. For instance, five students are employed at Baku Healthcare Center, three at Turan Drilling, and two at Bahar Energy Operations Company. Four students have successfully completed internships at the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute (AZSTAND) and other institutions, continuing their internships, and several final-year students have been permanently employed.
