UFAZ announced the results of its bachelor's admission exam

Azerbaijani-French University has announced the results of the admission exam for its bachelor's degree programs for the academic year 2023/2024, which took place on August 4.

A total of 421 candidates registered for the UFAZ admission exam, and out of these registrants, 372 participated in the admission exam. According to the final results, all 160 available places offered by UFAZ have been filled. Specifically, 60 students were admitted to the Computer Science program, 35 to Chemical Engineering, 35 to Oil and Gas Engineering, and 30 students to Geophysical Engineering.

Nazrin Aliyeva achieved the highest score in the admission exam organized by the University of Strasbourg. Scoring 67 out of a possible 100 points, she chose to pursue Computer Science at UFAZ.

In recent years, thanks to UFAZ's educational and support campaigns aimed at encouraging young girls to pursue engineering qualifications, there has been an increasing interest among girls in the university. Consequently, 44% of the newly admitted students (70) are female. This distribution is as follows: 62.86% in Chemical Engineering, 53.33% in Geophysics, 37.14% in Oil and Gas Engineering, and 31.6% in Computer Science.

Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov, the Acting Rector of ASOIU, along with scientific expert of UFAZ, Professor of Strasbourg University Pierre Collet, and other representatives, observed the examination process.

The list of approved applicants with successful exam results has been submitted to the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In turn, the Ministry of Science and Education will provide the names of the students admitted to UFAZ to the State Examination Center, exempting them from participating in the competition for other higher educational institutions.
