On August 30, the State Examination Center (SEC) announced the results of student placement for the academic year 2023/2024 at higher education institutions in the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to the results, this year, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) has fulfilled its admission plan for the first phase with a rate of 94.45%.

For the academic year 2023/2024, a total of 3405 students were admitted to ASOIU out of the allocated 3605 spots for the I speciality group.

It's worth noting that at ASOIU, teaching is conducted at the bachelor's level in 30 specialities in 3 languages (Azerbaijani, English, and Russian). Out of these, 18 specialities have received international accreditation.

Recall that in the previous academic year, ASOIU admitted 3372 students to its bachelor's degree programs.
