On September 14-15, in the city of Antalya, Turkiye, the 16th International Conference on Applications of Fuzzy Systems, Soft Computing and Artificial Intelligence Tools (ICAFS-2023)" was held under the chairmanship of Professor Rafik Aliyev, the Director of BA Programs at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).
The conference, organized by ASOIU, was dedicated to the memory of Professor Lutfi Zade. The International Conference, where nearly 120 articles were presented from various countries, including the USA, Canada, Poland, Finland, Spain, Italy, Malaysia, China, the UAE, Ukraine, Iran, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkiye, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Nigeria, and Libya, was conducted in collaboration with invited professors from different countries.
During the conference, Professor Rafik Aliyev presented on the topic "Toward a new approach to reasoning with Z-number-valued If-Then rules," Professor Latafat Gardashova presented on "Decision making on IT Investment problem under Z-environment" and "An application of the Z-number theory to dental disease problem," PhD Nigar Adilova presented on "Fuzzy type-3 Mamdani controller," PhD Aziz Nuriyev presented on "Traffic Control problem with Z-number-based reasoning" and "Hotel green supplier selection in Z-information environment," and Ph.D. student Shamil Ahmadov presented on "Probabilistic reasoning using normal distribution for traffic light controller."
It's noteworthy that the selected articles for the conference will be indexed in the SCOPUS international database and published in a Springer series book.
