The professor of Ufa State Petroleum Technological University in Bashkortostan, Ramil N. Baktizin, and the delegation he led met with the Acting Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov. 

The guests, who became acquainted with the university, visited the workplace where Academic Azad Mirzajanzade used to work. They shared their memories of Academic Azad Mirzajanzade with Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov and discussed his outstanding contributions to science and the development of the oil industry.

It is worth mentioning that on September 29, the International Scientific and Practical Conference titled "Innovative Technologies in Oil and Gas Production," dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Academician Azad Mirzajanzade, was held. Within the framework of the conference, petroleum geologists-scientists from Russia, Kazakhstan, and Bashkortostan came to our country. They subsequently contacted ASOIU after the conference to arrange a meeting with the rector and expressed their desire to visit Academic Azad Mirzajanzade's workplace and the university.
