The "Heydar Aliyev 100: Engineering Hackathon" has come to an end

On October 14-15, the 'Heydar Aliyev 100: Engineering Hackathon,' an intellectual competition organized in collaboration between the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) and the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) at the Azerbaijani-French University (UFAZ), concluded.

In this intellectual competition dedicated to the memory of the National Leader, 30 teams from 21 universities participated. A total of 27 teams presented solutions in the categories of 'Ecology and Environment,' 'Transportation and Logistics,' and 'Innovation and Technology' in front of the judging panel. The teams concluded by presenting their projects based on technical and business criteria.

In the technical segment, Samer El Zant, the coordinator of the Computer Science Program at UFAZ, evaluated the proposed solutions. In the business category, the judging panel included Ramil Shukurov, Senior Teacher of the Process Automation Engineering Department at Baku Higher Oil School; Elviz Ismayilov, Coordinator of 'Eazi Start' Startup and Innovation Center; Jasur Hasanov, Head of the UFAZ Innovation Center; Bakhtiyar Islamov, Chairman of NAP Youth Union; Rauf Jafarov, Deputy Chairman of the Association of Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Organizations; and Eldar Babayev, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department at 'Digital Umbrella.'

The results of the intellectual competition, in which 120 students participated, will be announced during the event titled 'Honoring the Past, Believing in the Future: Contemporary Azerbaijani Youth Embracing the Legacy of Heydar Aliyev,' to be held on October 21 at the Heydar Aliyev Center.
