The delegation from the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Istanbul and Qafqaz University in Türkiye, participated in an international conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
The conference was attended by Hüsnü Kapu, the Rector of Qafqaz University; Nuru Guliyev, the Consul General; Najiba Nasibova, the Education Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ankara; as well as members of the Azerbaijani delegation, including Mujdat Hasanov, Head of the sector of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry; Gasim Mammadov, Vice-Rector of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University; Garay Musayev, Vice-Rector of the Azerbaijan State Economic University; Jala Garibova, Vice-Rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages; and Huseyn Mammadov, Vice-Rector of Baku State University.
During the conference, academic staff conducted discussions on the topic of "Heydar Aliyev and the Turkic World," emphasizing the great leader's endeavors, the strong fraternal bond between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, successful educational collaboration, and the significance of Azerbaijani language and literature programs at the university.
Throughout the conference, the delegation had the opportunity to become acquainted with the facilities at the Heydar Aliyev Azerbaijan Scientific Research Center located near the university.
Additionally, the delegation visited the Anadolu technical-vocational lyceum after Heydar Aliyev in the city of Kars and met with the head of the Kars City Administration of the Ministry of National Education of Türkiye.
